Section Policies

Jurnal Manajemen Transportasi & Logistik (JMTRANSLOG) publishes scholarly manuscripts that fall within the journal's aims and scope, particularly in transportation management, multimodal transport management, logistics management, supply chain management, transport and tourism management, and transport and environmental issues.

Original Research Articles

This section publishes original research articles presenting theoretical, empirical, methodological, or practical contributions to transportation and logistics management. Manuscripts may be based on field research, quantitative or qualitative studies, mixed-methods research, case studies, or public policy analysis. Submissions should clearly explain the research objectives, methods, findings, and implications for scholarship, professional practice, or policy development.

Review and Literature-Based Studies

JMTRANSLOG considers literature-based studies that critically examine, synthesize, or evaluate existing research relevant to transportation and logistics management. Submissions should demonstrate a clear review approach, provide a coherent synthesis of the literature, and identify relevant research gaps, theoretical developments, or practical implications.

Editorial Evaluation and Peer Review

All submissions are subject to an initial editorial assessment to determine their relevance to the journal's aims and scope, compliance with the author guidelines, originality, and suitability for peer review. Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment may be sent to qualified reviewers. Submissions that do not meet the journal's requirements may be rejected or returned to the authors before external review.

Acceptance for publication is based on the manuscript's academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, relevance, and the outcomes of the editorial and peer-review process. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication.

Publication Ethics

Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts are original, accurately reported, and prepared in accordance with accepted standards of research and publication ethics. Manuscripts must not be under consideration for publication in another journal at the same time. All authors must approve the submitted manuscript and accept responsibility for their contributions.

JMTRANSLOG reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not comply with its editorial requirements, publication ethics, or scholarly standards.
