Peer Review Process
In the review process, Jurnal Manajemen Transportasi & Logistik (JMTRANSLOG) involves authors, editors, and reviewers. JMTRANSLOG applies the Double-Blind Peer Review model to maintain confidentiality and ensure an objective evaluation of submitted manuscripts. Every submitted manuscript is initially screened by the editor to assess its suitability for the journal's aims and scope, compliance with the author guidelines, originality, and academic quality. Manuscripts that meet these requirements are forwarded to reviewers for evaluation. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's requirements may be returned to the authors or rejected.
Each manuscript is reviewed by a minimum of two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in transportation management, logistics, or related fields. The peer-review process generally takes approximately 2–4 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the complexity of the manuscript.
Reviewers assess the manuscript's originality, relevance, research methodology, quality of analysis, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the development of transportation and logistics knowledge. Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editor makes the final decision, which may include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection. Authors required to revise their manuscripts must address the reviewers' comments within the deadline specified by the editorial team. Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.
The overall process from submission to publication is estimated to take approximately 8–12 weeks, provided that the review process and required revisions are completed within the expected timeframe. The actual duration may vary depending on the reviewers' assessments, the extent of revisions required, the authors' response time, and the journal's publication schedule.
